We are all made of stardust.
I have been painting little cards with animals and star
constellations for the last few weeks.
It was a great fun. Most of those cards are dedicated to my friends. I
tried to match an animal to each person. I could feel the power and strength of
those wild animals when I was drawing them and painting. After all, we are all made of
stardust.

Spring!
Spring is almost here and everything changes. There is more and more daylight
every day. I spend time in the garden again. Birds sing happily. I am changing
happily too. Slowly getting ready to give a birth, creating space and painting
a little. I also feel so grateful to women who have been supporting me through
my journey of pregnancy. Women power and support can be magical. It is amazing how easily women unite and
connect through their motherhood experience. It is also truly amazing how the
birth experience bonds families together.
I am also
grateful to Diane who recently bought one of my paintings, for her kind words
and sharing her connection to the painting. Paintings evolve emotions, memories
not only for me but also for those who I share my art with. Art works create parallel
stories, connections between the artist and the viewer. It is a subtle bond
which connects them both forever.
Star stories
still remain the main theme of my art works at the moment. I fell in love with
night sky at the Highlands.
Happy, happy
spring everyone and happy March.

February
Hello Dear Souls.
My days are fulfilled with nesting at home and waiting for
spring to come. I sew, paint, read, gather and collect baby stuff and…cook a
lot. Scott decorates Elliot’s room which is going to be a star room. First
snowdrops are visible in the garden. They bring hope. Also the days with sunlight are getting
longer.

Roots
It has been nearly 3 months since we left Edinburgh. We went
back there for a short visit during Christmas. When we have come back to
Highlands I finally felt settled. I also felt a little longing for our new
place when we were away. I was so happy to go for a walk into the woods, see
familiar trees and hills which have become part of my world around me.
Loneliness does not bother me anymore so much. It is good to feel our little
roots growing here. My heart found new home. I suppose it is a good start of
the New Year.
Wishing you much, much love and happiness in 2016.
