Cold, windy and busy days and reading every day Katie Morag put me in the mood to paint watercolour landscapes. Painting landscapes from the North is a meditative process for me. It is the way of stepping into my dreamland and also the way of putting my spirit into the mental and physical space. This is the space where I want to be. It is also great art journey to the land of serenity and colours.

ReplyDeleteI'm perfectly content to be in my sunny studio this afternoon, but if I close my eyes and let my mind wander... I'd love to be in a flower and veggie filled garden! Sometimes it's hard to remember that all this snow will eventually melt and flowers will bloom again!
