Where I want to be

Cold, windy and busy days and reading every day Katie Morag put me in the mood to paint watercolour landscapes. Painting landscapes from the North is a meditative process for me. It is  the way of stepping into my dreamland and also the way of putting my spirit into the mental and physical space. This is the space where I want to be. It is also great art journey to the land of serenity and colours.

'Where I want to be'

  7. Beautiful, Aga!

I'm perfectly content to be in my sunny studio this afternoon, but if I close my eyes and let my mind wander... I'd love to be in a flower and veggie filled garden! Sometimes it's hard to remember that all this snow will eventually melt and flowers will bloom again!

    Sending hugs!

  16. This does look like a peaceful place to be. Where is your true north? Those are lyrics from our national anthem in Canada, "...the true north strong and free..."

You asked where I would want to be...I would like to be near water, where the birds are plentiful and the area is open to exploring.

  19. So beautiful and what a challenging question. I would like to be with my husband who is working outside the country. I would like to be with my mother. I would like to be in a moment in time where I could have more time to create, explore and share...
