The middle of February. Edinburgh is covered with snowdrops. I can feel a slight change in the air. It is getting a bit warmer and sunnier. I cannot wait for spring. I am carrying on with painting watercolour landscapes. My mind and heart take me to the peaceful places where I can rest and patiently wait for days filled with light, warmth and sun.

We have had unexpected cold and cloudy days here... and I have missed so much the light... in particular, when I am outside with the camera, I´ve been spying the sun all month long, trying to go out when it shines but I have not always been lucky...
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week dear friend. Beautiful landscapes! xx
Ahh snowdrops, we have at least a month before they appear.....maybe a bit longer. Mysterious mountains and cliffs, love the colors. xox

Your watercolour landscapes are beautiful! I've started using watercolours again recently, but I'm still struggling a bit to get them as bright and strong as I want them to be. It's feeling like spring here, but I'm longing for snow and colder temperatures.
ReplyDeleteYes, really nice trees with bare branches in contrast to the mountains of that beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteI love that you let your painting take you to warmer days! We all need that hope for spring...
ReplyDeleteLovely!
