Parallel moments

Hello beautiful souls. Spring is in full blossom in Edinburgh. The city is nicely filled up with green and pink colours of flowering. Spring is like a blessing of fresh and vital energy. It infiltrates the heart, body and senses. It is like a gift. I enjoy spring time with my love and friends. We find together new or rediscovered places, fields, street alleys during our daytime and evening walks. Everything is unveiled in the spring light.  I reflect upon my inner and artistic journeys. I try to remember that every single experience is a lesson. I also paint my journeys. Painting helps me to feel the past moment of beauty, peace and happiness one more time. It is sometimes like time travel through parallel worlds. Past, present and future penetrate through the process of creating. I am here and there at the same time.

Untouchable

A bit of everything this time. This is the best description of recent days. I have been through days without energy and then I have been through days which brought lots of smile on my face and peace in my heart. Life keeps itself in balance I suppose.  It has been warm and sunny in Edinburgh. I came back to painting (finally). When I was visiting my friend Weronika in London a few weeks ago, we were looking through her photo album from childhood. The whole album completely inspired me. It was such a completion of captured memories, mostly in black and white, so pure and peaceful. 'Weronika' painting is based on one of the photos. It was love from first sight. I knew that I wanted to paint it from first glance.

The beach described verbally: blue, lots of blue, sun, barbecue smell, water, water and sand, lots of sand, people, children, dogs and sandcastles, happiness.

Wishing you all a lovely, creative and happy week.

Let me take you to the beach, baby...

Spring is here. It is really, really here. I can smell it! It is that unique smell of air, just after a shower, it is the smell of cut grass in the evening. It is the smell which brings so many memories of ones younger self who believed that absolutely everything was possible and memories of those endless nights during the spring. In the meantime let me take you to the beach, baby...
