A bit of everything this time. This is the best description of recent days. I have been through days without energy and then I have been through days which brought lots of smile on my face and peace in my heart. Life keeps itself in balance I suppose. It has been warm and sunny in Edinburgh. I came back to painting (finally). When I was visiting my friend Weronika in London a few weeks ago, we were looking through her photo album from childhood. The whole album completely inspired me. It was such a completion of captured memories, mostly in black and white, so pure and peaceful. 'Weronika' painting is based on one of the photos. It was love from first sight. I knew that I wanted to paint it from first glance.

I love these, especially because they are black and white. I have recently purchased a water soluble graphite pencil and have been working in black white using gesso.

You captured something truly remarkable in "Untouchable." Looking at it, I get the exact feeling I have when I see a bird soaring. That's pretty amazing. I love the way you rendered the sky and clouds, as well.
