Many of my friends have been there already. There are various reasons why they go there. They are looking for sun, music, meet nice and friendly people, get inspired and relax. They are seeking for inner and outer freedom and peace. Have you ever been on Goa? My friends whenever they talk about Goa seem to be relax, calm and happy. I heard few stories from Goa. These stories inspired me to paint.
Now I feel that I am ready to move on to another painting and to write again. Next journey begins.

Also I dedicate my 'Goa' painting to my spiritual mum Ewa. Thank you for your inner wisdom, heart and beauty.
I can relate to this post... writing is also part of my creating process. When I create, I go inside and I need to explain what I have discovered in order to understand it or even internalize it.
ReplyDeleteI too can relate to this post. Writing and now painting are a wonderful way to learn about myself. I love the intensity of the red you used in this painting and the one before. Both paintings are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely art work ~ love the movement of the water and contemplative image of the woman ~ Enjoy ^_^
ReplyDeleteLove how vibrant her hair looks. I can feel the breeze in the painting. :)
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your contemplations about your paintings. You have such a thoughtful, creative soul.
ReplyDeleteI'm full of inspiration from my trip and seeing your beautiful depiction of water in this painting is making me think I should attempt some ocean paintings. I think it would be as soothing as spending time by the lapping waves.
Hope you're having a wonderful week!
Beautiful work, another great post! Valerie

Happy PPF, your words about your writing and painting process are something I can totally resonate with, it seems so circular to me. I like the contemplative nature of your painting. xox
ReplyDeleteI think writing is a beautiful part of the creative journey. If you haven't tried morning pages like in The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron - I totally recommend trying it. Your painting has such a peaceful contemplation about it. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteHugs Aga...such a deeply moving post..such magical art...full of spiritual beauty and a sense of self-discovery and soulful exploration...I love the wonderful artist-spirit you are..magnificent work!I relate and connect with what you shared and yes,I too experience the same when I create too..it is magical isn't it!! I love this painting, and your beautiful process of learning and searching. I had to google Goa, and now I want to go there!
ReplyDeletewhat a very beautiful and contemplative painting Aga!! I've never even heard of Goa but I know it must be beautiful. Your piece immediately had me envision the figure as me(except I have blonde hair:)-my fave color is red, and I SO love the ocean and find myself quite often standing there like your painting and taking in the magnificnce of it all. Thanks for sprinkling a bit of your magic on me. Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteYour painting is beautiful. The idea, which is why you painted it liked it very much. I wish you a good journey continues! I was never in Goa ... unfortunately not - but I would like to see and experience.

lovely painting..never been to Goa but a swedish friend has just returned from there and said it was fab
ReplyDeleteDear Aga!
ReplyDeleteYou always express such death both in writing and in your art. It is wonderful to follow you in your process or resignations. I had to find out where Goa is, it could have been an imaginary place :-) The painting is showing a longing for the beauty and peace that you can find at the sea (so I feel)
Send you greetings and wish you a very happy Easter too!
Hugs Ilona
Very pretty woman in red waiting ...
ReplyDeleteLove how her hair flies in the wind, she looks reflective and free... love the reflections on the water. Never been to Goa, the ocean must be beautiful there...
ReplyDeleteI love your painting - the colors are wonderful. HPPF
ReplyDeleteIt sounds (and looks) like a wonderful place! Beautiful painting.
